Courtney Dias leads Learning and Development at QXi, where she has been given the opportunity to build the department from the ground up. Her role is all about helping people grow – from supporting associates to ramp up quickly, to developing middle management and leadership, and even driving business performance through strategic enablement tools such as AI.
Her path has centred on creating opportunities for progression. Both for herself and for others.
When Courtney joined, she was entrusted with the freedom to shape Learning and Development in a way that would have a real impact. Alongside her role, she is studying for her CIPD qualification – a unique position that allows her to immediately apply what she learns to the work she’s doing at QXi.
“It’s been really empowering,” she explained. “The Learning and Development piece here isn’t just something we say externally – there’s genuine investment in people.”

This ethos shaped one of Courtney’s key initiatives: QXi's Mentorship Programme.
Developed to bridge the gap between studying and leadership, the programme gives people a real flavour of what mentorship at QXi means. It’s designed to help associates understand the processes, the skills, and the mindset it takes to mentor effectively – and ultimately, to excel as future leaders.
“Mentorship is about so much more than guidance,” Courtney said. “It’s about equipping people with the confidence and the skills to step into leadership themselves.”
